3 Shimla Mirch or Bell Pepper (Green, Red & Yellow – 1 each)
2 Medium-sized Onions
6-8 Garlic Cloves
Salt (as per taste)
1 Tbsp Mixed Herbs
1 Tbsp Black Pepper
1 Tbsp Chilli Flakes
3-4 Tbsps. Vegetable Oil/Sunflower Oil
1 Cup Water
1 Tbsp Butter
50 Grams All-Purpose Flour
1 Cup Milk
1 Tbsps. White Pepper Powder
1 Tbsps. Mixed Herbs
First of all, take the chicken breast slices and finely chop them to mince the chicken.
Now, take 3 fresh bell peppers of yellow, green and red colour, chop them into small cubes and keep them all together in a small bowl.
After that, take 3 peeled onions and chop them again into smaller cubes and keep it aside in a bowl. You may use a chopper for fine chopping if required.
Next, grate 2 tomatoes using a grater and remove the peel-offs aside. Then, take few garlic cloves and chop them into smaller pieces using a chopper. Once you’re ready with the ingredients, take a frying pan and put 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onions to it and sauté it well till it turns golden brown in colour. Now, add chopped garlic and again sauté it well till it turns a golden brown colour.
To this, add chopped chicken breast, stir it to separate the pieces and cook till 7-10 minutes till the chicken is cooked well.
Once, it is cooked, add the grated tomato and subsequently some tomato ketchup, salt, red chilli flakes, crushed black pepper, mixed herbs to taste and stir it well till it becomes aromatic.
After that, add the chopped bell peppers and cook it well. Now, add a small bowl of water to it and allow it to cook for 5-8 minutes.
For preparing white sauce, take a dry frying pan and add a butter cube. Once the butter starts melting, add some all-purpose flour to it and mix it well.
After that, add a bowl of milk, salt, white pepper powder and again mix it well. Add some water or milk accordingly if required. Now, add some mixed herbs to taste.
Next, take a few lasagna sheets and boil it for at least 3-5 minutes till it’s half-cooked. Drain out the water and keep the lasagna sheets aside. Once you’re ready with all the ingredients, it’s time for their assembling!
First, take a container and grease it with oil. Add the first layer of white sauce into it. Then make a second layer spreading spread the lasagna sheets nicely. After that, put the chicken stuffing as the third layer.
Over this, add some mozzarella and processed cheese. Then make another three layers, first with lasagna sheets, second with white sauce and third with chicken stuffing. Add some grated processed cheese for topping, sprinkle some mixed herbs to taste.
Preheat the oven at 180⁰C and then bake the assemblage for 20-25 minutes at 200⁰C. Cut down the baked juicy chicken lasagna dish into smaller blocks and serve it hot.
